It has come time to part with my Magnum I. I purchased it on this very forum a number of years ago when I was gigging regularly as a bass player, but I've been getting a lot more guitar gigs these days so it doesn't get much play time. I'm not entirely sure how to date it, but the serial number is B3212. It's in good shape. There is some light buckle rash on the back, and the foam mute has moved on past its prime, but everything is solid and there are no body gouges, etc. Electronics are original and all working.
Because I used to do a lot of travel with these basses I have more cases than I know what to do with. Therefore, this bass is available with your choice of any combination of 2(!) original brown ovation cases and 1 ATA flight case. I'd like to get $925 for the bass with one original case, or $1000 for the bass and all 3 cases. Feel free to make an offer too, I have a soft spot for ovation solidbody guitars, but I'm looking to clear at least $500 in cash.

Shipping costs depend on the buyer's carrier of choice. The bass will ship in *some* kind of case, and I have boxes and bubble wrap here, so costs will be actual shipping without packing. I'd prefer buyer pay shipping, but in the event there's some kind of trade in the deal I usually go dutch on shipping.
