| Hi - I'm new on the board. I make and repair mostly electric guitars. I've been asked to look at a Balladeer with a broken neck. I'd like to know from the knowledgeable people here how feasible it is to replace the neck, and where might I source one? If anyone has a neck for sale, I'm interested.
Thanks
JC

Which model?
Removable neck or attached - they used Epoxy so you have to destructively remove either the neck or the body to reuse the other. |

| Uh-oh, I was hoping it was a bolt-on neck, because I've seen Ovation neck bolts on 'bay???? |

Location: Upper Left USA | The Mothership (aka Ovation customer service) does a fantastic job and you end up with a new guitar at far less.
You can still share some photos and get some feedback here. Some things are repairable. |

| Th trouble about the mothership is that she's on the other side of the Atlantic. I think I'll pass on this busted Balladeer and stay with nice bolted-together guitars ;-) |
