This link seems fitting...lots of professional musicians admiring this guy's masterful playing and so-so singing...
Enjoy...thanks dad for buying me my first guitar...a Yamaha FG-75

And thanks for the song. I'm going to try to remember to learn that one as soon as we get through the holiday crunch. |

Beautiful song too. |

That link is a beautiful tribute.
Dementia is such a horrible disease.
My Dad has had it for years… I miss him, even though he's still with us.
It's so hard to watch someone you love slowly disappear into a fog.
I hope your Dad is in a better place now.
Peace. |

Location: cincinnati, ohio | My condolences. I lost my dad seven years ago this coming Sunday, December 29th, during the Christmas season. You never really get over it, as I'm sure you know. But you keep on keep in' on. All my wife and I have left is her Mom, who is 93.
Cherish every day you have with them, and remember the good times you had wit those who are gone.

Funny, I always wanted to be "top" of the family totem pole ... until I got there and now see that there is only one other place to go !!! |

Location: cincinnati, ohio | Yeah - my brother calls me the "Patriarch of the Family" now. I'm 63, but I don't look or act it - and I sure as hell don't feel like a Patriarch. But it's the Circle of Life, a natural progression...unfortunately. |
