| I've read many posts here in the last few weeks while I was doing some research. I was entrusted with selling a guitar by some friends that have to move, and I knew absolutely nothing about it! All I was told was that it was too good to go in a garage sale. Turns out it's a transparent burgundy 1777LX, and it's rarer than most because of its prime condition.
After searching the web and finding very little outside besides what's on Ovation's page (which is a very comprehensive site, I might add!), I turned here. I had all sorts of questions: What's an LX? Where's it made? Why's it special? What's it worth? How do I ship it? and on, and on. Each question was answered thoroughly on posts started by others like me. Along the way, I could see that your community respects each other and they go out of their way to share with others what they know. It's refreshing to see. Thanks to all of you! |
