| Hi Everyone!
I stumbled across this fan club while casually looking up Ovation guitars online. What a great find!
My first connection to these guitars began when I was a kid.... I'd watch my grandpa play one of his many ovation guitars. He worked at Kaman in Moosup, CT, so the whole family has ovation guitars! Some of my greatest memories of my grandpa were just watching him play the guitar : )
In our household, we have 3 ovation guitars. My mom has 2.... her first is a 12 string that my grandpa (her dad) put together for her from defective guitar parts. Her other one is a gorgeous sunburst.
The 3rd guitar is mine and was given to me by my grandma. My grandpa had it custom made just for her and I especially remember him playing this guitar. As a kid, who wouldn't love a blue sparkly guitar! Ok, I still love that it is sparkly!
While I unfortunately do not know how to play guitar at all, I have a huge respect for the quality and beauty of these instruments. Hopefully someday I'll learn how to play them! And once I find time, I will post pictures of our treasured guitars!

| There are a few Adamas in the family, but not mine! My blue sparkly one is a custom Applause. Well, actually it used to be a light blue, but looks more greenish now. I'll try to post some photos. |
