I have purchased a used 1778 KGC serial number 528303. Anyone with information as to where this guitar came from? I understand it supposed to be one of 30 made for the Guitar Center and sent overseas. This is the nicest sounding acoustic I have ever owned.

It came from the MotherShip (New Hartford Factory) in 1997.
If you know that there were only 30 made, you know more than most people.
I'm guessing that it looks like this and has the weird stereo preamp...

Now, as to where your guitar has been since it was created until you got it...
That may be interesting to discover.

Thanks for the info. This guitar is a winner. I plan on keeping it and let my wife sell it when I am dead. Of course I may have worn it out by then. I hope.
