Location: Cape Town | Hi guys I'm new to the forum but not new to Ovation. Around 2 years ago I got a CC67 of my local Classifieds, I was absolutely In love with it, felt like a rockstar everytime I picked it up. Unfortunately it got stolen about 9 months ago and I have been without a guitar ever since.
So now the time has come to replace my baby. I want to do it right and get the best possible I can afford. Thing is it is quite daunting looking at what to buy with so many different Ovations on the market. I want to spend about $500 but I will be willing to go up to a $1000 if I see something that speaks to me 
My request to you guys is to help me decide what to get, any ideas and suggestions are welcome. I don't even know which guitars are made in the USA and which are made in Korea. I tried to decode the Ovation website but can't really figure it out, I don't even know the difference between all the different series. I would like to buy USA made model (obviously) and don't want to make a mistake.

Location: Sydney, Australia | I'll kick off. Celebrity, AX and TX are Asian, LX is US made. Most people here would prefer a second hand US made guitar to an Asian one. Of course, what we all really want is a deep bowl, textured top Adamas - hey, I made it. | |
