Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | It would be nearly impossible to find a set like this now. So that's how I would prefer to sell them. Not that I really want to sell them, but an opportunity has shown up that requires a little give on my part. Put simply, something has to go, whether I like it or not.
What I have is one of the coolest sets of shiny bowl Ovations you will ever see; a K-1111 40th Re-Issue Balladeer matched to a re-furbished 1968 slot-head 12-string. Both sport the shiny bowl which is SOOOOO much cooler in person than in pictures! The slot-head 12'er also has the direct out pre-amp that they used on the FD-14's. I'm told that the 1115 was totaled at some point, so the factory put the original neck on a new body built to the original '68 specs.
As far as I'm concerned, it is the 12-string equivalent of the 40th Anniversary series. And it just fits right next to the Balladeer.
They both have effortless action, killer looks, and drop-dead sound! They both come with hardshell cases. Other than a minor nick here or there, they look nearly perfect! I'm asking $2500 FOR THE SET, including shipping both guitars (continental U.S.), or if you live near enough, I will consider driving to meet you instead of trusting these to the tender ministries of the USPS. If you are overseas, I can consider it of course, but there is no inexpensive way to ship two guitars. It would be best to ask for a shipping quote first.
I might consider partial trades, but it would have to involve something pretty nifty, and I do need to raise a bit of cash.
Feel free to ask any questions. You will absolutely LOVE these guitars when you see them!

Just a friendly reminder/clarification:
I am willing to spread payments out for these (within reason of course).
I am also willing to consider trades plus cash.
Let's do something creative eh?

I know.....it's pretty sad. |

I'm always willing to listen to decent offers. Anyone? |

Suffice to say I am somewhat more motivated to move these than before. Let's make a deal eh? |

Somebody needs to get what they want for Christmas!
Since they come in a set it counts as "one in"... |

I am willing to drop the price a bit. (How much depends on how far they have to travel. I am paying double the usual shipping after all. )
I am also now willing to sell these separately, though it seems a shame to break them up.

Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | Can you believe it! The K1111 Balladeer is sold!
Now who wants to make an offer for the 12-string. It is absolutely killer! I kid you not!
Depending on how things go, I might also consider an interesting trade. |

You can find it HERE. |
