Location: Flahdaw | Some of you here know I have a Youtube guitar lesson channel. Some of you are subscribers, so thanks! I just surpassed 1,000,000 views overnight, and now have 2400 subscribers.
It started out from watching Fretkillr videos a few years ago, and I thought "I wish he would show how he plays some of these songs." So I posted a couple of lessons of old acoustic tunes, never thinking anyone would watch them. I remember getting excited when I actually had 100 views.
So I haven't posted anything new lately, with moving to a new house and all. But now I will have a designated recording studio area upstairs, and am looking forward to recording some originals, as well as some more lessons on old stuff.
Anyway, thanks to you folks that are subscribers. I hope I've shown some useful tips to a few of you. |

Isn't there some sort of hit threshold when you start getting some cash-o-la?
They keep trying to get me to load ads on my videos, and I keep refusing. I really HATE having to go thru an ad before I watch someone's video.
Whatever "cash-o-la" might be possible would probably be so miniscule that it ain't worth my time or trouble. |

Location: cincinnati, ohio | Congratulations, Bob! Nice job on hitting the milestone. I'm a subscriber and have the link bookmarked so I can go right to your channel. I learn a little something every time I go there (you CAN teach an old dog new tricks). I like your laid back presentation of the lessons, and they're always very clear and concise. I would say your channel should be essential, mandatory viewing for new guitarists. They'll learn a lot.
