| Just wanted to introduce myself ... my name is Jimmy and I live in eastern NC. I bought my first Ovation in 1996 (Standard Balladeer) from a music store where I had the opportunity to compare it with many other acoustic/electric guitars. This was my first experience with Ovation and I was blown away by the sound and playabilty of the Balladeer. I enjoyed gigging and just generally playing this guitar for many years. In 2006 I had the opportunity to try a used Ovation DS 768 CCB that a fellow needed to sell. After about 2 minutes of playing I gladly gave him the money and I have been the happy owner to this day. I gave my old Balladeer to my son and he has put many more miles on it. He gigs almost twice per week with it and has since I gave it to him in 2006. He and I are both dedicated Ovation fans. |
