Location: SoCal | I gotta make a comment on these slothead reissues. While they are big buck guitars, they are the finest sounding, most exquisite to play guitars that Ovation has ever built (Shut up Clifford. I'm not comparing them to the original slotheads, just what is being built now).
If you've ever thought about spending major money on just one guitar, this is the one. You will never sit down with somebody playing an expensive wood box guitar and feel out-gunned.... |

Location: Germany | I've already seen this guitar in person and all I can say is Wow! The picture does not do justice to the beauty of the beige color and the sound is stunning. Same voice as #47RI but louder (I have no idea why). No Jeff, it's not a wide neck :(

My favorites, in order, are #47 red, black, the blue/beige burst...and Adamas blue somewhere way at the bottom. |

I use that line at least once a week. Just depends on how many meetings I have scheduled. The looks I get are priceless. |

When I first saw Keaton utter that to Mull (actually I think the line was "110, 111, whatever it takes..." but JW's works just as well here) I cannot tell you how loud I howled (as the son of an electrician). Keaton had the perfect expression to pull that off.
And I'm very glad someone else picked up on that. |

That one and Gung Ho were two of my favorite movies for a VERY long time. I'll admit to being a closet Michael Keaton fan... :p |

I love the beige, it's my favorite stock color, I was very close to choose beige for my own custom order, but finally decided a custom color.
Beautiful.

Location: Midland, MI | First off, that custom order is a very nice looking guitar! I recently promoted my 1681 to "next to my chair" status and am amazed every time I pick it up. It just sounds so good! I'm sure that one is leagues better than mine (but I secretly hope not...heh). Enjoy!

Keaton was (is?) a very good actor. He went into a slump for a while there, though, until he pulled off the Batman thing. Haven't seen much of him since that, though. |

Paul, I second your remarks: my 47 is such a sweet guitar: off the charts! Visually stunning, sonically superior and tastefully terrific! I do love mine! |
