I saw tiny tim at the steele pier in atlantic city some time in the early 70's. he actually had a really good voice and was into old tunes from the late 1800's early 1900's the falsetto was his gimmick.

TT's most unendurable moment, for me, is his spot at the Isle of Wight festival. ELP, Joni Mitchell, Moody Blues, the Doors, Free, Hendrix, Who......and Tiny f***in' Tim. RIP bro: you were a global phenomenon.

Yeah, I never saw him live or gave him any thought whatsoever but I heard a recording once of him doing some really old style music quite well which interested me. I can't remember the song but I came away with the impression that the freak show was just a gimmick.

I only heard the one song from this guy that was on the radio - never actually saw him before or heard anything else by him - this music is very powerful IMO

He was brilliant performer for the old music he genuinely loved, and the world is a little sadder because he's gone.
