Kaki King is featured in the new Guitar Center Catalog. Shows her playing some vintage guitars and her Adamas.

It was probably the fact that it snowed here in East Tennessee. 1" 2" where I live TV station was calling it a "Major Snow Event".

I used to live in upstate New York. :D

you would think someone that fancies themself a counter culture type would not want to align with guitar center.

I just looked through my green tag catalog and Kaki is not in there. My book has Billy Corgan.

Paul, maybe I am wrong but I believe that everyone has their 15 minutes of fame....

T28, that's the conclusion I finally arrived at. Clifford can be so cynical for someone so young.....

"Kaki King Featured In GC Catalog"

Am I the only one who read this fast and thought it said GQ instead of GC?

Boy, you know it really bothers me when some of you jump on our Main Man Cliff. This is just wrong, Paul.

He's really not that young.

Thanks for the kind words everybody. I haven't seen the catalog yet, but was glad to hear she was pictured with her Adamas 1581.

Here's a recent interview with her by a E-zine:

I haven't seen the catalogue, but the interview was nice. Her comments about New York were particularly thoughtful.
Maybe she'll provoke our local GC to start carrying Adamas, but I won't hold my breath.
