Hi there Folks, I'm a 63 year old guitar-player, been playing for around 25 years, my tastes in music are very broad, as are my playing styles/genres, my first play on a guitar, was a friends Ovation, an early Aluminum-necked model, which I found very easy to (attempt) to play, something that a new player really needs, if they are to continue learning, I've owned various guitars over the years, and among my present collection, is an Elite 2058tx 12-string,-I have owned it for 18 months now, and of my other guitars, it's the one I play by 'default', when I jam with other players, It gets sneered at by them, as it's not considered 'traditional' (Lyracord bowl, obviously that's a heresay!) Plus it's 'stealth' appearance, just leaves them cold-that is, until one of them picks it up, (a bit reluctantly) and plays it, grudgingly commenting on it's ease of playability, and it's sound-especially, when played through an acoustic Amp, do any of you guys encounter this 'anti Ovation ' vibe, amongst other guitarists?-I find it a bit strange, it doesn't bother me anyhow, I'm the one, having great pleasure playing my Ovation guitar!
