| Hi to All,
Really glad to see there are others that love their Ovation > My Guitar is a 1612-4 Custom Balladeer
S/N 160940 that my wife bought for me the first Christmas we were married. It was a lot of money but she knew how much I enjoyed playing it. She was right , Its the one instrument that I have kept and play whenever I can. It still plays and looks the way it did back in 1980. I even kept the receipt along with all the hang tags. I can honestly say the guitar makes me happy every time I play it. What more can you ask for!
Thanks again to all for allowing me to join.I have included a picture .
All the Best!

| Sorry I'm not sure how to post a picture of the guitar. If someone can advise I will put it up.
Thanks again,

| Hi To All,
Again sorry about the picture. At least I can ask a question. My Ovation has the volume only preamp. (which works great). I would like to get some feedback on amps that work well for small gigs. I have a Peavey KB60 that I currently use,(I also play bass thru it) It works well but I would be open to any opinions of other amps that might do a better job on getting more of an acoustic sound. Again thanks to all!

Hi Dave, repost this in the main section (start a new thread), as most people can't reply in the Welcome section. |
