Location: New Bern, NC | Well, I was right that the buzz was coming from around the bridge/body of the guitar and not the frets. The guys at my local music store tell me my buzzing D seems to be coming from something around/under the preamp. They have contacted Ovation about it and Ovation is sending them something like a rubber gasket(?) or something like that to put around/under whatever it is to eliminate the buzz. I didn't quite follow what the guy was saying, since I NEVER deal with the guts of my guitar. Yeah, I totally need one of you guys to literally stand by me to give me more confidence about sticking my hands inside there to do something other than change the battery. |
