Location: Yorkshire, England | Just wondered if anyone caught the early white Breadwinner on ebay. Early production model with the jack socket on the edge. It didn't last long.
(32022401738) Got to admit it was very tempting, but didn't know if he would ship to England !

Location: Yorkshire, England | Hi James, it went for $1,150.00 `Buy It Now'
Lasted about 10 minutes before someone bought it!
If I hadn't just bought an Elite, I wouldn't have hesitated. (If he would have been willing to ship to England, that is !)
What's the `Old Dart' by the way?

Location: Yorkshire, England | Maybe it wasn't in it's original state, but restoring it to such would not have been a problem, I think that was the attraction of it - I would certainly have had a bid if not for my recent purchase, he who hesitates is lost, as they say. |

My daughter lives in London and works for EMI

Location: Yorkshire, England | I see - as in "You Tart!" Thanks for the suggestion Miles, it could be a lot worse I suppose !
James, the `Dart' bit in `Old Dart' could probably be derrived from `The Old Dirt' meaning the soil of the old country. That must be an interesting job your daughter has at EMI - I live quite a bit further north up in Barnsley, Yorkshire. |
