For no other reason that I can, I declare today Traffic day. I have dug out my master copy cd of "low spark of High heeled boys" and will follow that up with the collection of their greatest hit along with John barley corn must die

I will also be digging out the LP's the live LP was NEVER released on CD as far as I know and it is excellent.

last but not least I am determined to locate my vhs copy of traffic live in santa monica in 1972 and maybe even play the limited edition remastered blind faith LP.

Listening to Low sparK NOW and I just have to add that Chris Wood was a genius (rip)

One of my all-time favorites. Thanks for the reminder, I'll have to put some of their songs into the iPod rotation.

I can appreciate and enjoy immensely the unquestionably superior sound quality of a true audiophile's system, but there's something to be said for portability :)

I have to agree with Al on this. Even worse is the FM transmitters for IPODS for use in your car. They take a really bad sound and make it worse.

It just reminds me that I have to get my stereo back on-line. Since moving (2 years ago  ), it is setting in the boxes and I have been suffering with iTunes on crappy headphones and my sons BOSE Sounddock.

My biggest problem is that the foam cone supports have rotted out due to ozone and I haven't taken the time to replace them on the Snell Type E speakers that I have. These are some of the most neutral, sweetest sounding speakers I have ever heard!

Once that is taken care of, I'll juice up the Hafler amp/pre-amp combo I built and the B&O turntable and show my son what music is SUPPOSE to sound like!

Every time I can talk our drummer into it, we play Dear Mr Fantasy. That song always goes over great. Those guys were amazing.

Brian & I talked about takin' a run at "Mr Fantasy" but the Steve Winwood vocals kinda squashed that idea.

The Castrati doesn't come with a "stick" . .

Nice catch, Brad. At this point, there are no excuses good enough.

Ya got me diggin for those Traffic CD's bought a while back. Low Spark is a great song! I wonder if I could find a way to do that solo on the acoustic and have it sound OK? Man how cool would that one be to pull off.
Nice call Al

Are we talking "Mr. Fantasy" or "Had to Cry Today"?? Or Both??

I'm not familiar with the latter, but if it's Winwood, no sweat . . .

Send me an .mp3, getcher ARSE to Amelia!, & "BringIt" . . Beee-Otch . . .
