Location: Jet City | OK, time to say goodbye to this one. Making room for something new. Aside from a 4in finish crack, it's in excellent condition. OHC included. $400 plus whatever shipping is. damon67 - 2013-02-14 10:59 AM 12 frets to body, nice break over the nut due to the slothead, and that typical ovaion 12 sound and playability. The silky top on this guitar is absolutely gorgeous! I've been a bit protective over my Custom C2078LX, so this is the 'house' 12 string. Lately I've had it tuned all wacky to do "The Rain Song" with. This is one of the last ones made as it has a blue lable and a serial placing it in the early 80s.

Location: Jet City | It's the 3rd Pacemaker I've had, and you're probably right. I bought it to keep me busy while my C2078LX 12 string was in the shop and have kept it much longer than I told SWMBO I would (really, who NEEDS 2 12 strings?)
The funds are being re-distributed towards a very special guitar TBA when I finally pay for it.

They play great, sound fantastic, and can compete with other brand 12 strings that cost 5-10X more.
GLWTS.....someone will be very very happy with this one. |

Location: Utah | That's the guitar I wanted in 1977 when I was in high school. Couldn't quite get up the moolah at the time, so I got an Alvarez - Yairi instead. It is still a very good guitar, though now passed down to daughter Sara. Luckily she keeps it at the house rather than her apartment, so I get to play it regularly. Had I gotten the O it would not have been passed down! |

Odd attitude for a guy with your tag line.
By that reckoning I have more 12-strings than I need, but, IMO, if you could only have one 12-string acoustic, a Pacemaker would be hard to beat.

Anyone jonesing for a 12 string can't do much better without dropping a ton of money. |

I agree when you can have five or six....
But more importantly, in this group, when did NEED ever come into play?
lol
Seriously, these are fabulous 12ers...I have had probably 6 in my life so far and the one I own now (1980 1615-1) is mint and a joy to own and play...congrats on the sale and to the new owner: Muzza! (I'm guessing) |

I've claimed it here, sent a PM and posted on his Facebook page. It's out of my hands now.
If I had his number, I'd probably phone him right now. (I said "PROBABLY"...) |
