| Hi all, as another avid fan of the Ovation sound I thought I'd sign up as the info and comradery here I beliene is first class. I grew up listening to Larry Coryell, Al Di Meola, John Mclaughlin playing Ovations and absolutely loved their playing and sound. I have had a Super Shallow Body Pinacle for around 20 odd years and have just bought myself a W597 Adamas, which am super excited about getting my hands on. It's great to see so many Ovation fans as for my money there is not another guitar that sounds like them. My local music store (here in Scotland) was trying to stear me in the direction of a Taylor, which does sound lovely, but it just didn't call to my heart. I have wanted an Adamas for such a loooooong time and am thrilled to finally have one on it's way to me. I don't have a handle on all of the different model numbers and would love to get a deep bowl at some stage. Anyhoos, will look forward to making your aquantiance over the coming months and years.
