maybe this subject has been already debated or maybe not. In several models of legend and custom legend all of you have surely identified on the bridge two pearl dots that hide a screw (present also in other low end models and 12 strings). However not all legend and cl models carry this feature. Some have them (I've noticed more in the '80/'90 models) but not all of them.
Is there any particular reason for that?
As far as you know, is this pertaining to a particular production/period of time?
Any idea?
Thanks

I think some of the painted tops had the dot/plugs due to adhesion issues.. naturals did not.. tho I could be wrong, and nothing at Ovation is constant.

Thanks Glenn.
I don't know. Bridge is glued after the painting on the finished top.....and many painted tops do not show dots at all ...
