granted it's really not the same guitar with a top/bowl replacement... but it really does sound excellent and is starting to open up nicely and the people at Ovation Really do a GREAT job at making them as-new again.

and the neck re-set on the 85-x is dead-on...

looking forward to the shiny 12 with the fd14 elx under the hood.

Wait, lemme get this right. You send a beat up 1537 back to the factory and they return it to you in mint condition and throw in a nylon string viper as well ???

it's not a viper tho.. shallow bowl custom classical elite... supposedly built for Larry Gatlin in 85

Kim says there may still be 3 more like it out there somewhere.. he has a natural one.
