Hi I am from UK and the proud owner of 4 Ovations at the moment. I've owned a fair few others this last 20 years and to be honest,I've loved and coveted these guitars since I owned my first one,a pure acoustic legend (1117) in 1993
I'm very much looking forward to learning more about these guitars from you all here and hopefully in time being able to contribute what I can.
thanks all !!

will try and get better pics up but the sun hasnt been out for a couple of months here

Welcome Honkytonk. My first guitar was a 1117 too (1982). A moderator will be along shortly to grant you full access.

thanks,I miss that 1117 and the 1111 I had 10 years later. also a 1612 Custom Balladeer, another 1769, and a lovely new 1778LX. Wish I'd kept the lot but I really do live and learn. I've had the two Custom Legends a long time now and they really are stopping with me. The two AX guitars have been a bit of a revelation and I'm glad I took the plunge. I really cant fault either on fit and finish and the tone on both is to die for. They fill a niche I've always wanted to fill.
I've got a wedding this year and I'm buying a house. I sold off my G&L's and my two Musicman Steve Morses and I'm gigging with electric guitars a lot less valuable and in fairness I'm happy with that and I really havent noticed my loss too much. The wedding fund went up a fair bit too in the process which was the whole point of the selling off excercise.
But I cant bring myself to sell any of my Ovations and my partner is good with that so all is well. In fact I'm saving up for a Elite next! I'm happy to buy another AX (a white pearl Elite Standard would be my first choice) to keep the economy going
I'm hoping to read lots of opinions and owners reviews on the AX models in general on here.
thanks once again for reading
