Found a very nice 1121-1 at a pawn shop. Fell for the burst, like tobacco almost.
Serial #009713
Can't find the numbers on "Breaking the code", and the printout is at home. Could be my oldest O (so far)
Would appreciate help. |

| According to the serial number, the guitar was manufactured in 1972, which would be the first year with the silver foil label. |

Too much beer last night, got up early and strung it up this am. I travel with nut files and basic tools, cuz you never know.....came out great! And 4 years on the old Folklore. Wow, 40 years old, and not a crack, just some minor dings in the top, and a finish crack behind the neck/head area after a fall along the way.
Pictures. Yeah, I know.....I see new instructions posted. When I get home this spring, maybe I can sort through that, or hire a Geek. Sometimes the posts are kind of meaningless without pictures, but at 65 maybe I'm running out of braincells.... Love that burst! |
