I did a little searching and saw the OMA had one for sale a year or two ago. There's also some info in the Ovation Gallery. When were these made, 2006-ish? Any idea how many were made and why? Not being a smart aleck, just asking if Kaman was trying to fill a niche or was it a case of using up some surplus parts?
I love a mystery.

Location: sitting at my computer | ksdaddy - I love a mystery. Spotted that one too, and wondered if it was maybe the predecessor to the beach goer oriented MOB-47 and 57 Tangent Series'. Another unusual critter. Not luvin' that color though. |

I had a Red one. Mine was a nice guitar.
Totally worth the asking price... But it is a fugly color.
Maybe it is better-looking in real life.
It is just a fully acoustic Celebrity-type guitar.
Made In Korea... Just like AX and TX Ovations.

Location: Caribou, ME | Yeah the red one you had was awesome. Red on red on red, like it got dunked in a vat. The gray/green one reminds me of a plastic uke from the 50s.
It's ugly enough and rare enough, I may have to have it. |
