Location: Germany | My music-projekt where I played that beautiful sounding mandocello for the last 13 Years has ended, so there is the chance for someone here to get this one-of-a-kind-beauty. I do only know 4 of them in existance. My Information was that they want to make 7 complete sets of Book-Instruments to sell them to Collectors. But that did not work, and so only four complete Sets were built. Two for the american market and two for the German Market. At least no one was interested to buy a complete set of this book-instruments, and they sold them piece for piece over the years. That was my information from the german distributer Musik-Meyer. So this is a very collectable item and sounds like a cannon, because it's played a lot over the years. Only minor playwear. Looks and plays perfect. I'm asking for 2.200 € for it. OHSC included. Shippng and taxes not included. (there is no finish-checking, what you can see is the lightning from the camera:-) Very well taken care of!

Location: Germany | Sorry, not for sale. I'll keep the Mandocello also, if no one is interested. These are fabulous Instruments. Acoustically the Gibsons sound much better, but the Book-Mandolin is the only Mando with a built-in Pickup... The Mandocello is acoustially and plugged in awesome!!! |
