I tried to follow what's going on here. It seems like he's posting this guitar and planning to take the high bid (at auction end) and OFFER it to the seller, who will, I think, have the option of accepting or rejecting.

Yup, it reads weird.

"... unless he gets a reasonable price for it."   THEN he ought to set a Reserve to establish his idea of a "reasonable price"!

 

IMHO - wouldn't touch it with a twenty-nine-and-a-half-foot pole.

No strings usually means unplayable action.
Good BFLG candidate except that the Seller is really a potential Buyer before he can be the Seller

If the instrument were cleaned up, restrung and given an honest evaluation it would be stand a chance of going higher than $150 but not under this plan.
