Way, Way OT: Dash Cams

First Alternate Posted 2008-03-08 9:25 AM (#50916) Subject: Way, Way OT: Dash Cams Joined: May 2005 Posts: 486 Location: North Carolina Noting the proliferation of aggressive and otherwise idiotic drivers of late, I've often wished I could have a dash cam - front and back - to protect me if I ever get into an accident. I did a little research online, and there they were! A hundred bucks, digital recording , 8 hr loop. Anyone use one, or know someone who does? Anyone specifically not want one? A Georgia state trooper was caught with his weapon drawn, screaming at an elderly woman to get out of her car. He didn't know he was being video taped. He lost his job, and she got thousands of dollars in a court settlement. Go figure.
