Location: SoCal | Not sure which 1688 that is but remember the 1688-7 that I got for you? Then you traded the 1688-8 for the 1688-7.
Well, the 1688-8 is still here.
For those who do not know, Chris has ordered a number of 'custom' from the factory...in the case of the Adamas 12-strings, a lot of work and followthrough to ensure that the end result was as close as possible to the first run. |

Location: Brentwood,TN | Thanks Tony! Yes..i had a 3 (1688's) built. Two of them were the beige/blue and the 3rd one was the blue burst that i guess u still have Tony. I kinda stop playing for a fews yrs and now I have the "itch" again. |

Location: California | C. Choate- keep playing these great guitars, skills never go away but it takes sometime to bring them back. Wish one day I get to play a 1688-12string.
Tony- we have to meet together sometime.

Location: big island | mahalo, guys, for getting chris connected with me. i kindly informed him that this phenomenal adamas 12-string will probably be cremated with me upon my inevitable demise. (do almost indestructible adamas guitars burn?) in essence, i will not let this one go. it is that good, IMO, and the memories of when my wife blessed me with this guitar are too precious. and thanks again, mr. standingovation, for your participation in this life-changing event!
(btw, i am still in school. i completed over a year of the ADN program before withdrawing and have transferred to university for the BSN instead.)

Location: Brentwood,TN | When I fly up to conneticut in 06' to pick out the woods neck etc for my double neck...i asked them to put that in there so they went ahead and made me up about 10 or so for all the other customs i had built and mailed them to me when the double neck was finished 6 months later. Great bunch of guys that worked there. Mark Lamanna....John Budny....i wonder if their still around? |
