Location: CT | Hi there. Need some help from the experts. I have a '77 Preacher. It's playable as is, and sounds great, but has some cosmetic issues. I'm interested in finding a new neck for it if I can. Which, if any, necks are cross compatible across the electric solidbody models/years? |

Post some pictures of what you have, a few of us may have what you need! |

So, here she is. You can see the major issue of one of the "wings" being snapped off the headstock. There are some dents on the back of neck too. Nothing too terrible, I barely notice them. But, lately, I've been playing this guitar quite a bit more. I'm starting to think it would be cool to fix it up.

Location: CT | Thanks, man. Yeah, it's not too bad. I was even thinking of trying to just fix the headstock and some of the deeper dings with putty, but if I could get a replacement neck for the right price... |

Location: Upper Left USA | The good thing about the Poly finish they used is that it's tough. The bad thing is that once you crack it, it is almost impossible to repair.
For some dings you can do a cyano-glue build up and polish.
I'll try to get back to you by this weekend. |
