....bet'cha I get ALL them nooks and crannies clean NOW! ;) |

Location: Berkeley, CA | I did the same thing when I was about 18, only my victim was a four barrel carb off my 1960 chevy. I kept seeing "dirt". My neighborhood mechanic/gas jocky (remember those, anybody) cleaned it for me and put it back together fot the cost of the dip and kit. It ran better than ever.
Want his number, TRboy? :D

Mike,I'm not plannin' to do any stripping on this one  ....just brasso'in the tarnish off the nickle plating and waxin'....I once took down and started to strip (everything even the finish on the neck and rez.) a nice old Aria 5 string a few years back and never finished it.....finally traded it (as a basket case) to my bud at the local music store! |

Location: Budd Lake, NJ | Gee, TR.....I don't know how to tell you this, but, well, I'm afraid maybe you got snuckered just a mite on that banjo; they done went and gave you one with the wrong neck. I guess this is as good a time as any to correct the situation, but you should really make sure that they give you a discount, it being wrong and all.......... ;)

Somehow I don't think that's an option for you fix-it kind of guys. |

If he were pissed, his ears would be folded and his eyes would be dilated. Does he play the banjo?

Location: Budd Lake, NJ | You know, in looking at the "after" pictures, it would make a pretty tambourine; just hook up a few of the little disks to it, and you're all set. (It'd take some major arm muscles to play it for any length of time, though.......) ;)
