Those have been up for a long time. I talked to him years ago to see if he would sell them separately. He would, but he wants top dollar for them.

Man Ovation has made some nice Collectors over the years!

Dayummmm! I've got to double up on my efforts to win a lottery. There are several of those guitars I'd love to own, but to buy ALL of them would be fantastic. Anybody ever heard what they want for all of them?

Didn't Gregory Smith buy an entire series 1982-2005 from someone for $50,000. including all the case candy?

At least that's the story that was going around ... initiated by him, of course. If his collection did exist, I wonder who ended up with it when he got sent up.

I asked them about a couple of the guitars. Here is their response.

"At the moment the 2003 and 2005 models are still available. The 2003 model lists at $2195.00 and is on sale at $1995.00. The 2005 model Lists at $1995.00 and is on sale at $1650.00. Please le me know if you have any other questions."

OTT if you ask me.

I just got an email on the 1992 in the photo. Asking price is $1,400.00. Is that price out of line for basically a still new, unplayed guitar?

Dave - don't know if it's accurate, but I read that the '92 Collectors' models were originally priced at $1,700 new.

One sold on ebay (last yr. ?) for $605 + $50 shp., condition stated was - no flaws or blemishes, OHSC incl..

here's one I spotted while searching...

Is the seller a dealer? If so, is this NOS with an original warranty?
