Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Very cool, Stephen. One of these days I'll be in the audience. We're doing three concerts this weekend ourselves at Boettcher. Brad |

I think it is awesome to play a venue like the Boettcher. |

Sounds great! Hope the headache passes and you can make it out! |

That's how you tell a really good band: how good is their 2nd tier stuff? |

Location: Denver, CO | So, if an ofc member were, theoretically, interested in maybe purchasing one of these high-end ovations, or possibly even an Adamas, you know, just for argument's sake, where would the members of the forum send this aforementioned hypothetical individual? Do we have a local retailer with whom we prefer to do business? I see that Drum City/Guitarland is a dealer, and I like those guys; bought my Pearl drums from them, but thought their guitar focus was primarily on shredders? Never been to Armani, and I drive by Fred's twice a day but have never even seen the place... |

AlPep of course is one of the owners of this site, but more importantly he is a great guy to do business with. There is a reason he is the world's #1 Adamas dealer - he's gotten all of us hooked and we keep going back to him for our fix! |

Location: Denver, CO | Thanks, Fly...I was aware that Al is a salesman, and that he does a lot with special orders, and I would certainly consider keeping it within the family, so to speak; the reason for the post is, I don't have a lot of experience with any Ovations save my 40th reissue and the Celebritys at GC, and a couple of older ones I have seen in pawn shops over the years. What I want as much as anything is a place to go where I can fondle them a bit. Maybe next week Professor Brad will hook me up with some of his personal guitars, but once again, I have no idea what he has or if he even has anything that would fall within my budget. |

I have mostly Adamas (twin baritones and OFC2 and #57), along with an '84 collectors (that many think of as one of...if not the best...of the collector series)....and an Ovation Mandocello and a few woodboxes from other builders.
I don't know what your budget is gonna be but they span the under $1000 to over that with some change range. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Well, dwg preacher, my list of Ovations and Adamas models are a bit eclectic, leaning toward SSBs and customs, but you're welcome to come hear and play what I have. Between Stephen and me, we have a lot of the good stuff covered. |

Location: Denver, CO | Since I have this history book, and I've been thinking about how to add my own statement to the letters, cards, pics, etc. I thought it might be cool to get a group of us together with our guitars and take a Mile High picture to put in it. How many locals would be able to make it? Maybe on a Saturday afternoon at the Capitol, or Civic Center park? |

Once a time and place is decided, I can call Mark and a few others that don't check in very often.
