Location: Utah | She's playing Salt Lake in a couple of weeks at a much nicer venue than her last tour when she said she wanted to do the grunge bar band scene. The venue she played here definitely fit that bill.

Location: atlanta | Willa, thanks for your kind words about Kaki. Glow is doing extremely well at Amazon and iTunes. As you can imagine, once it reached #12 at Amazon, I couldn't help but follow its progress. Amazingly, at 9pm Friday it reached #7 at Amazon and #28 on iTunes top 200!
How long do you suppose it's been since an all-instrumental acoustic guitar record was in Amazon's top 10?
Your comment suggests that you have heard it. If not, I'll give you a money-back guarantee if you buy it and don't like it. In fact, I'll give the same offer to any OFC'er.
I'll say this about it--if anyone wants to hear just how great her signature Adamas can sound, Glow is proof positive.
Finest regards,
Dave K. |

Kaki is live at the Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton MA on 11/8/12 at 7pm. The IHMH is a fabulous, intimate venue for dinner and a great show.

Location: Utah | We saw Kaki play here in Salt Lake last night. It was a solo guitar performance of a cross section of all her music including several from the new CD. I like this new CD a lot. It is reminiscent of her earlier work but a more mature and refined production.
At the show she played several different guitars, including one with a brand new experimental Moog synth gizmo. She said it is not a processor but something which uses electromagnetics to modify the string vibrations. She was obviously in heaven just jamming and playing with it.
