Location: Burbank | A couple of weeks ago. I got 2 great scores on the same day. First I traded a mixer for a mint condition 1115 Pacemaker. The only thing I saw on this was some slight discoloring on the rosette, who cares? Being a deep bowl I was surprised at how bright souding it is. After I picked that up, I went and bought a excellent condition 1663. It has some finger cheese on the fret board and it needs to have the action lowered some. The top is perfect, the sounds is great. Now I just need to learn how to play'em! I'll post some picture when I can.

Location: Burbank | Thanks guys. I decided to work on the 1663 and cleanup the finger cheese. When I got it all clean I found that the tonge end of the fret board had a crack that is about 3 inches long. Spans frets 13-15/16. Anyone know where I can get some ebony dust for the repair? |

Location: Burbank | Well I went to a local repair guy and he gave me some ebony dust (sounds like a drug deal). Gonna attempt a repair this weekend. |
