Celebrity CC-074 Bass Owners????

Crazy busy, but found time to acquire a Celeb bass, and am looking for other owners here to chime in with their thoughts on these. Also, since I'm not a big fan of bronze bass strings, would it be safe to put Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flat strings on it? They're VERY low tension. Soundwise, if I gig it, it would always be amplified anyway, so low natural volume isn't much of a concern. Basically, this will be my "porch bass" for nice evenings with a Guinness under the tree. Joined: May 2004 Posts: 383 Location: Indiana I have a CC274 that I bought last year. I am really amazed with it. I also have a Martin B-1. Between the two I actually prefer the Ovation.
