Please vote below from the list of ten semi-final name selections. You may choose up to THREE names. As always the decision of the judges is FINAL.

I didn't notice that one among the original suggestions...
And it's REAL popular now. |

I'll take credit for Adumbass Slothead. One of my frequent moments of true inspiration.

Actually, I think I enjoy being "back in the shadows". I know a lot of guys are really into rackng up big post counts and that's fine. My hats off to the 5k and 10k club. But I don't necessarily want to be a leader of the pack in post counts. So starting back at zero and clawing my way up is sort of fun. The chase is more fun than the kill, know what I mean?

The good news is we were not asked to help pick his nose. |

Here's a chuckle (at least for me). I sold a guitar last week and got the check in the mail Saturday ... made out to Dave Witco. I hope the bank has a sense of humor.

Speaking of lawyers and golf, did you hear that Johnny Carson got sued after he was interviewing a golf pro's wife? I think it was Arnold Palmer's. He asked what she did to help his game. She said she kept his balls warm because warm balls go farther. Johnny said, "Ooh! I bet that makes his putter stand up."
Across the pond, that would be acceptable TV. |

It may be apocryphal but I always loved the story from about 30 years back about the NFL linebacker who was asked live on tv whether he preferred grass or astroturf and replied that he'd never smoked astroturf. |
