They were pretty pricey out of the gate. 100 made, I think. Kings ransom, if one ever appeared on the secondary market, I assume.

I have an 08 that I would sell. Mint condition, virtually unplayed. Has never left the house. It was ordered with one custom feature (Waverly tuners).

Send me a PM if you are serious.

cardinalflyer... I play the snot out of my 08C. Love the guitar.
Could not agree more. I actually had one for a short period of time but sold it in favor of my OFC2 guitar. A few months back I got to jonesing for another one and checked out having one custom made for me. Price tag was close to $6000 so I had to pass. Anything in the $4000 range for one of these on the used market is a steal and you NEVER see one on the used market. I think most of these that have changed hands have done so through word of mouth and never really hit the secondary market.

Stephen you must have ESP. I offered mine for just about that price.

Could the factory even build one today? Well, I guess they could build anything for the right price. Does anyone remember how much these were new? The number $3600. sticks in my head for some reason.

Stephen did you get the wide neck version of the OFC2?

The retail-price was $5.000,00 in 2008! I still have the list...

Geesh, I didn't realize they were that high. I saw one sell on here for roughly $3200 and one on the bay a while back for somewhere south of $3k. Shoulda been looking then!

Dave, yes got one of the wide neck versions of the OFC2 which is why I let the '08 go.

Daguitaritz....that was probably the going rate a year or two ago but when people realized how awesome they were the used market dried up pretty quickly and prices went up (for the few willing to sale). If I had not gotten a WN version of the OFC2 the '08 would have NEVER been sold.....still regret it but can live with the decision cause of the OFC2. I believe I sold mine for $3800 and that was over 2 years ago.

I'd love to play one someday. Might get my attention even more. I suppose it's the next one on my list, but I'll be waiting a few months before dropping over $3k. I soon will have bought an 09, 06 and 96 for that money ($3800)!
