Location: Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire | In the late 60's I had an Ovation Guitar amplifier with the seperate head with Fuzz, tuner, reverb etc and a powered speaker cab with (4) 12" speakers and (2) horns with a knob to set the amount of high frequency to the horns. I regretted giving that up for something lighter but I bought it when BIG was the style but later it was to heavy to haul around to gigs. After all these years, I'm jammin with a friend and he says he's got some old amp he's about to toss out since its been sitting in his shed for ages. Low and behold its an Ovation!!! Same K6002 head as the one I owned but a smaller powered speaker cab with (2) 12" speakers and a single horn!! Hard to find info on these old dogs like schematics, specs, etc for testing and repair so I'm searching for sources of info. I would appreciate anything anyone can share.

PS: I do miss the OFC Gatherings at the factory! I'd enjoy it again if we had a chance to see Guild products too! |

the head dude of this website, one of the 2 founders, has a bunch of old Ovation amps and cabs and stuff. Why don't you go ahead and post your request in the main Gerneral section where everyone will see it and anyone can respond as well.
