When I got one of my Breadwinners, it had the original black paint stripped (99%) and a clearcoat applied. The refinish job was sloppy . I was wondering if the Mothership still did refinish jobs on the old solid bodies. I would like to have the body restored back to the black.
If you know they do, who would I contact at Ovation? Thanks.

I would like to see the 'after' photos, Puppetman.  I had one of my three 1537's refinished at the factory with stellar results:

Refinished 1983 Ovation Elite Model 1537 Sunburst

Hope to get to see your Breadwinner when it's re-done.  I don't think I would have changed anything on mine, but it was damaged, which is why I decided to have the top redone.
