Location: Ohio | Man I just went through all the pictures from the factory tour in Hartford CT. That was quite a few years ago by the looks of it. I would love to do that. We should have a gathering there at some point if they still offer tours. That would be a blast. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Sadly, no tours since Fender took over. Al put in a lot of work to put these on, but I hear everyone had a great time. I think it was one of the main things that bonded this club together, even if, like me, it was one of those things that was on the "must-do next year" list. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | When I was one of the tours, they were making Al's custom run OFC I Adamas models, most of which were already spoken for. Moody pointed over to a rack of various models nearing completion, one of which was an obvious OFC I and said, "Hey, Brad, isn't that yours, number 5?" Sure enough. There was my OFC-I in the process of being built. Of course, I snapped lots of pics. |

It was video of the craftsman working on the guitar through various phases of the build. I think that is just the coolest thing |

Location: closely held secret | If anyone's interested, I still have copies of the 2005-2006 Tour DVD's. $12 shipped, 3 DVDs.
2005 includes the tours of the Ovation and Hamer floors plus lobby jams and open mic performances.
2006 includes the open mic jam, lobby jams, 3 classes and the Factory Q&A session.
Yeah, I know it's not the same as BEING there, but... YSBT.

Be aware these do not have labels on the disks themselves, as I have read too many horror stories of disk label adhesive melting in the DVD player (or worse, the PS3). Sharpie on the other hand, is forever.
Enjoy. |

Current guild models are fantastic in my opinion. I bought a GSR F-30CE after I saw it at NAMM and they absolutely hit it out of the park. One of the best I own and right up there with some of my boutique ones. |

I have over 500 pictures from a few factory tours and gatherings. It will take me a little while to upload them all. It will be worth the wait.

I looked at the guild gallery and they look nice, but they're not Ovations. One thing I love about Ovations is that they are so distinctive I have 6 or 7 Ovations and an Adamas and they all are unique. If it weren’t for Ovation I probably wouldn’t play acoustic. I used to shun regular acoustics because they dug into my side when I played them and they all looked alike, no personality. Ovations have personality and personality goes a long way ; )
I will stick with US Ovations and Adamas until I am forced to buy something else. Then I will jump ship to another innovator like Rain Song.
