That's because they don't sit around and think about their age, they get out and do it! I wish them many more years.

Glen Campbell is 75 and still has his pipes......maybe not the range he had when he was younger, but can stiil out-sing most half his age!

Just saw Glen, and his range was impressive that evening. He was actually showing off, knocking the top out of it.

Remember, you're only as old as the women you feel.

This reminded me that I haven't played this song in YEARS! I used to play it with a guy 30 years ago. Dang!
If anyone wants to learn an easy way to play this song, I did a quick demo of it this morning. I used my Tascam recorder to do some harmonies so it would sound better. Messed up some lyrics, but oh well....

Here ya' Go....

Got a whole herd of old farts up on stage...

Lots of Rogaine and Cialis and Lipitor up there... and Crosby showing-off that he can still breathe.

While not quite in their 70's but in their mid to late 60's.. Hagar, Tyler, Bloom, and many other rockers are still kick'n it out and will continue well into their 70's and likely beyond.

I wonder if the 70-year-old Crosby & Nash were singing the first part live. I have a vague memory of seeing them in 1976- I think the first section was prerecorded to go along with a film of whales.

I was lucky enough to hear Mike Smith (one of the lead singers of the DC5) in person. He still had the booming, leather lunged voice. Sadly, he died a few years later; just days before he was welcomed into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

A couple of years ago Judy Collins came through my home town, performing in a small venue at the local U.
71 years old at the time, she still lifted the roof off the building with that crystal voice. Still still had all that hair too!!
Inspirational (I mean the hair).
