Location: GA USA | I've hinted here and there in the past about letting go of the Demon Deacon. A little half-heartedly because I love it so. I bought it from Samova and many of you have seen and played it. Never has it lived outside the OFC family. As far as anyone has said, it's the only gloss black Deacon Deluxe. Samova assembled it from new parts he obtained from the factory in 2001. All original factory Ovation parts down to the screws for the pickguard. Abalone inlays. I have been playing my acoustic Ovations a lot. The electrics not so much. I would like to trade for a nice hollowbody of comparable value. I'd place the value of the Deacon at $1000. If that is almost there but not quite, I'd entertain adding the above Viper to the deal. I bought it from Miles when he was thinning "The Collection". I'd estimate the Viper at $400. Both have the tan cases that work well but show some wear. So if you have a sweet Gretsch or something else you're not playing, contact me. We can trade and each make a contribution to the OFC. Jas |

The Demon Deacon is a sweet player and it looks even cooler in person. Did that have a standard Deacon neck? For some reason I was thinking that neck had a slimmer profile than normal. |

Location: GA USA | Very slim. Beal said the slimmest he's ever seen. As you might suspect, he didn't like it for that reason. I don't think he saw it while in my care but remembered Sam showing it to him. We suspect it was a meant to be a Preacher Deluxe neck.

Location: GA USA | That's what I paid for it. It has quite a few small dings and the case is a bit worn. But it plays and sounds awesome. I agree as a playing guitar it's worth more. |

Al, I would surely trust your judgement above most. Could be. |

Location: GA USA | One more try. Both of the above for $1250. If not I'll know I'm supposed to keep them. Thanks. |

Location: Upper Left USA | Well I do have a Hollowbody Viper and a Hollowbody Deacon... Not sure if I'm in for a trade but I'd thought I'd try to show some options.
