Hi Bob,
The 1621-4 is an Electric Artist Balladeer. The SN suggests it was built in 1968, but I didn't think they built Electric Artists that early. The 1617-4 SN 001310 is an Electric Legend and was built in 1972, so it's an early one. If you're interested in values, check completed listings on eBay. Sounds like you've got a couple of great guitars. Post some pictures, we'd love to see them. If you'd like access to post in the other forums, just ask the moderators. Welcome to the group.

Nick. Thanks for the info. The 1621 was purchased by my dad used in the early 70s. I dont play it much but is a treasured memoy piece from him. The 1617 I found in the paper 10 years ago and wanted as I had always wanted one like my dads. It had the head broken clear off and pro fixed. It is the easiest most comfortable guitar and has a great sound. Havent played much in years but have got the bug and decided to do a little research on these. I also have a gibson 335 that my dad got me in the early 70s and have found out it was made in 1969. Its a great guitar but slill like 1617 the best. Thanks for the info. Bob
