Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | As much as I regret having to part with it, my 2009 FKOA Collectors is now on the selling block. It is currently listed on Ebay, but if someone here is interested I will let it go for $1800 plus free shipping to the continental US. Only two days left on Ebay, so let me know as soon as possible. I don't know how to post photos here on the new forum yet, but there are plenty on the Ebay link.

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Yeah Bernie, I know... it was a difficult decision, but I really have to scale my collection back to just what I actually need. I have two very nice wood topped six strings this and my 1537. One has to go, and although they both look and play wonderfully, the 1537 is the best sounding wood topped I have ever played. I also have a lot of sentimental value with the 1537, since it was my first Ovation. That will leave me with what I believe are the basics... An Adamas 6 and 12, a wood topped 6 (steel string), a classical/nylon string, and a bass. I have too many things around the house that need to be attended to, and that takes cash. I've been blessed to own many really fine instruments, but this way someone else will have the same pleasure. I've been quite the hoarder when it comes to guitars, and there are really many more important things in life. Life is too short to spend it all on guitars. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Well at this price I'd be amazed if it don't sell. I've already had twice the number of hits on it in one day as I did the first time I listed it. If for some reason it didn't sell, I'll probably hang onto it until I can take it to Germany when I get a chance to visit my son. I'm sure it would sell there quick.

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I'd love to keep it, but priorities are priorities, and there have been some major life-changers in my family recently. The situation will require some sacrifices, but my family is far more important to me than any guitar. Any time I can do something to help in a crisis situation, there will be no hesitation. |

Still, I'd snag this in a heartbeat if I could. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Just a reminder... The sale ends tonight ... I don't believe I can close the auction with less than 12 hours remaining on the sale. I am amazed at how cheap this guitar is in comparison to the other collector's models that are listed. |
