Not been around for a bit (well, just lurking..dreaming about that gorgeous red Adamas that was for sale)...
Just been told by my mate (who's dad has my guitar and is a luthier), after almost 6 weeks with it.."Yeah man, erm..my dad's a bit scared of breaking such a great guitar while trying to fix it so he doesn't know what to do!!!!??
So, I guess I'll get my baby back in the same condition.
Not sure what to do now, looks like I'll just have to get used to playing it and that's it....not much point trying to sell it and get another, for one I couldn't honestly sell someone a guitar knowing it needed work (easy to fix for you guys in the U.S but impossible here)and for another I wouldn't get what I wanted for it anyway here in Spain.
Bernie has kindly offered to take it from me and have a go at it, I guess that's my next option Bernie, but it will be a while, funds are low after Xmas...plus I don't wanna be without it again for a while haha , I gotta love it for a bit!! :-)
Although this is my first experience with Ovations, I still fall in love with each and every one I see on the net all the time, so I think I'm in the family to stay!!
By the way, what model is this anyone? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OgjB6y70ew&feature=related
(the sunburst, I love the diamond inlays!)
That's all, just checkin in..
Cheers!!

don't get me wrong! I don't want anything. You only have to serve the shipping fees to me and back....
I can't give you a warrant that I can fix it, but I've always good idea's...

Hello Bernie! Sorry I worded it wrong, I understand and appreciate what you say, I was checking the shipping the other day, it's about 60€ each way. Times are tight just now mate, but I do plan on sending it to you that's for sure! Just gonna enjoy the sound for a lil bit again first then it will be on it's way.
By the way, I may be gong to Baden-Württemberg this summer! First time in Germany!
Cheers

I can send to Spain 120x60x60cm, insured 500€ with tracking for 20,00€ online paid by DHL. Look:

Enjoy Germany, in BW there are some really beautiful places and all the great cars are built there: Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi.
Let me know when and where you are here, maybe we can meet together.

Location: Spain | Hi Bernie, I live in the mainland, couple hours west of Madrid. For the life of me I cannot get a quote on DHL...the Spanish site just doesn't work (no surprise there) and the UK site, with Spain as the collection works fine, but doesn't give me a price!!!
Could you try it on the German page with my city as the origen please? just to see if it's me doing something wrong?
My postcode is 37008 Salamanca
Thanks again mate!! |

Hope that helps. Can't find any quotes for shipments international.
