| There have been times I thought I was the only Ovation fan out there in a vast wilderness of Martin devotees. Glad to see I was wrong!
Anyway, my first Ovation was a 1612 Custom Balladeer which I got as a birthday or Christmas present in 1976, if I remember correctly. Since then I've had a 1657 Anniversary and currently own a CK047-FKOA Celebrity.
I also have an early Breadwinner in white, with the single-coil pickups. Should have bought one when I first tried one 35 years ago, but better late than never! Somewhere along the line, a previous owner tossed the bridge cover, so if anyone knows where I can get one please let me know. Thanks! |
