Location: Paris/France | Hello,
I'm in contact with the owner of the Adamas 1687-8 #125 whom is in France.
I've got some questions about that guitar.
As you can see on the picture below, there's no inlays on the fretboard.
Do you think that it could be a specification custom made for the first owner or a regular production on some first models??
According the owner, that guitar is equiped with both stereo and mono input but I thought that all the models with that kind of knobs we're only mono??
What's your opinion??
I'm waiting for better pics and of course I'll be glad to share them with you.
Thanks for your help.
J :)

Location: Germany | That's a very nice vintage Adamas! The only early non-inlay Adamas I've seen so far is the beige one in an Adamas Owner's Guide. On the picture Charlie is playing it. Maybe that's the one?
Don't worry about the electronics. Within the first 1000 serial number range you can find both. There is no commomn rule. I've seen #205 with stereo output (I have got some pics if you need them) and #327 with mono output only. And so on. Maybe the preamps were always stereo and they just dropped the stereo jack from time to time.

I doubt it's the same guitar but it could be if Marcel walked off with it. He never left the house empty handed. |

The pre-req is that you have to be talented enough to pull it off.
Nice addition Jerome!
And as far as the picture of Charlie - that is one heck-of-a Coffee Pot in the background! |
