Was wondering when Ovation started making them, and what you guys thought. My 1988 6868 is pretty worn - needs fret work, a new pickup, etc. so I was thinking I'd get something cheap to play most of the time. I was thinking $300, but this guy listed poorly and I was the only bidder.
Again, may not happen, but I can hope.

I didn't like the Koa 06 Collector's edition the first time I played one, though, either. Then I played one recently and it either had opened up and sounded better or my hearing changed. I know that my stomach grew to fit the contour bowl in between times.
