Location: atlanta | My daughter Kaki has a new music video made to promote a single from her new record. The producers put this description of how it was made on YouTube:
"The video was made without film cameras -- it consists of over 5,000 still photographs shot on Nikon D30s. There are no special effects; all of the light trails were created by hand, with up to eight individual "light animators" flashing LEDs and flashlights on and off over a long (8 second) shot exposure. The video was shot in NYC over five very cold, 16 hour days in January."

The electric guitar she's playing is her Hamer Newport Pro.
Best to all--

The flashlight/LED 'operator' really had to choreograph the moves to avoid showing up on the exposures! |

Probably why I'm not very creative... |

My wife and I watched "Autumn Rush" last week. That is also unbelievable how they put Kaki's playing in and made it look like the kid was actually playing.
  Thanks for sharing Dave |

I see White Stripes influence.
Sounds like music from Brooklyn.
Actually looks like the NYC I know. Well, it won't last long if the real estate developers keep going.
Enjoyed it. |

Kaki plays at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco tonight. The show is being promoted by Guitar Player Magazine and an autographed Ovation guitar is being given away.

Congrats.
This last effort of Kaki seams to me an improvement in respect to the previous release.
I like it very much. I've listen to the demo and my vote goes to "Saving days in a frozen head" and "2Oclock" .....

I will be on vacation in your beautiful country this summer. So far, Venice, Lake Como, Milano and Florence are on the schedule.
PM your mailing address to me, and I'll send DOR to you no charge. I don't think it's for sale in Italia yet.
Finest regards--
